How much do nails cost in Orange County?
Typical OC ranges — generally a notch below LA's trend corridors, except where Newport and Fashion Island bring LA prices south. We refine these against published menus as our salon reviews complete.
The 2026 price table
Typical ranges across Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach and Anaheim. Newport Beach and coastal spots trend toward the top of each range; inland strip-mall salons toward the bottom.

OC vs. LA: the honest comparison
- Everyday services run 10–20% cheaper than central LA — OC's salon density keeps basic gel and pedicure prices competitive.
- Premium work costs the same everywhere. A properly trained Russian-manicure tech or a booked-out extension artist charges for their time, whether the studio is in WeHo or Costa Mesa.
- Newport is its own market. Fashion Island–adjacent studios price like Beverly Grove. You're paying for the zip code as much as the set — sometimes worth it, often not.
Cost-per-week: the honest way to compare
A $40 gel manicure that lasts 12 days costs about $23 a week. An $85 Russian manicure worn 4 weeks costs about $21 a week — with cleaner grow-out the whole time. Long-wear services usually win the math; our Russian manicure guide explains why they last.
